Maryn trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, graduating with the highest honors. Prior to that she worked in entertainment. Where she found herself baking treats for bosses, clients and everyone else in her orbit. A bit further back than that, Maryn was a kid on a stool in her mother’s Cleveland kitchen.
Her mother, Gail, started a baking business called Piece of Cake in 1963. Gail is the little girl on the logo and Maryn’s baking mentor.
